Project Rescue Recon PDF Print E-mail

reconRecon is a puppy living with a platoon in Kabul, Afghanistan, where he has helped galvanize a unit that has had four guys killed, another four MEDEVACED to the states, and three others wounded in a grenade attack (see the YouTube video "Asadabad Grenade Attack"). The soldiers are looking to bring Recon home with them when they rotate out next month, so that he is not left to die in the perils of a nation at war with a culture that is, according to the soliders, hostile towards dogs.

The total cost to bring Recon home is $3,000. He is currently in Islamabad awaiting his flight to New York. ICPA has arranged (through a charity organization supported by the Int'l Human Society) to bring Recon home, and we would like your support in this effort. Gifts from $10 to $100 will be appreciated, and no gift will be turned down.

Send any contributions, big or small, to:

ICPA, Inc.
C/O Ann Lister
PO BOX 1544
Springtown, TX 76082
Make checks out to ICPA, Inc., and write Recon in the memo line.

Thanks for your help!!!
