A position within the Import/Export Control Group to ensure compliance with policies procedures and processes.
Monitor customs broker and freight forwarder activity. Retrieve data from various sources such as ACE, freight forwarder websites, GTS, import entry documentation and other data as required to gather statistics and perform evaluations. Report issues to Import/Export analysts.
Review freight forwarder/customs broker activity to ensure compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures.
Arrange and facilitate freight forwarder/customs broker business reviews in accordance with procedures.
Maintain recordkeeping to include storage of import/export data. May require coordination with freight forwarders and import brokers to ensure records are maintained as required by US Government laws and regulations.
Creation of graphs and charts as required by Import/Export compliance management.
Provide shipment status to other internal organizations. Assist in managing shared communication sites.
Update data in various systems to ensure compliance and increase efficiency.

Basic Qualifications
Strong business software skills (MS Office Suite and website applications).
Ability to work in a team environment
A basic working knowledge of import laws and regulations..
