Job Description :
Represent
Global Transportation organization for F-35 activities associated with
assigned country(ies). Participate and direct organizational interest
in all Program meetings.
-As the central point of contact to the F-35 Program for a given country, act in an advisory role for all matters related to Global Transportation.
-Develop and monitor processes as designed for a specified country, providing guidance to other employees engaged in export/import shipping activities to ensure required support posture.
-Establish and implement robust processes and procedures that deliver executable solutions across core functions and Program.
-Review and interpret export regulations, laws and requirements including, but not limited to, the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
-Review relevant export & import authorizations for gaps and restrictions; ensure export documentation meets US and foreign country requirements.
-Audit and evaluate current policies, procedures, and documentation for compliance with government laws and regulations.
Basic Qualifications
*Extensive experience in dealing with requirements specified in regulations pertaining to export/import activities e.g. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
*In-depth experience handling International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) controlled exports
Desired skills
Hazardous material shipping regulatory knowledge. Customs Brokerage/Freight Forwarding experience. Foreign-to-foreign logistics experience a plus. Demonstrated ability to establish direction, develop presentations and to conduct briefings. Ability to mentor and train team members.
*Excellent written/verbal communication skills; Strong organizational, prioritization, and decision-making skills
*Ability to interface effectively with all levels of internal personnel and external customers
