Job Description :
The
successful candidate will capitalize on significant project management
and problem-solving skills to tackle the most complex and pressing
issues facing the Global Transportation organization. Candidate will
work in a cross-functional environment to manage multiple special
assignments related to international logistics for both production and
sustainment of the F-35 platform. Candidate will manage competing
priorities and exercise broad latitude in developing robust solutions to
challenging and emergent situations. Candidate will develop strategies,
authoritative directional documents, presentations, and other guidance
to inform, coordinate, and enable internal and external Customers to
ensure the requisite logistics support posture. Candidate will be a
direct report to Sr Management and will communicate at all levels across
the organization.
Basic Qualifications
•Candidate must be highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
•Demonstrated strong communication (verbal, written, and presentation) skills
•General understanding of Foreign Asset Movement (FAM) context and challenges
•Familiarity and proficiency with Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
Desired skills
•In-depth understanding of the F-35 PSI (Product Support Integrator) concept and LM’s role in same
•General understanding of Foreign Asset Movement (FAM) context and challenges
•Familiarity and proficiency with Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
•Direct experience in the Import / Export / Re-Transfer of defense commodities
•Experience with SAP (Systems, Applications and Processes)
•Experience with GTS (Global Trade Services) system
•Experience with Project Scheduling systems, software, and protocols
•Experience with Aircraft Manufacturing and Integration
•Experience with Freight Forwarders and 3PL Providers
•Experience with FAR/DFARS
•Lean Six Sigma credentials -OR- equivalent experience in problem research and resolution
•Candidate must demonstrate high levels of tact and ownership in a dynamic, challenging setting
•Candidate must be a team player
