Can members share their experiences of visits by US Customs to foreign suppliers pertaining to CTPAT? Our Company was selected for a re-validation and this time around they want to visit three suppliers in Thailand. Does anyone have an agenda that was used for their visit? I am working on a C-TPAT security training and threat awareness program for my company. Does anyone know of any “off-the-shelf” training videos/CDs that are worthwhile? If not, are there other teaching methods that are worth considering?

I recently read in the JOC that as of Oct. 15 all containers entering the U.S. will require ISO 17712-compliant mechanical seals. I could not find any reference to this on the CBP website. Do any of the members have information that this requirement will be mandatory as of Oct. 15?
