After recording your TM with the Patent and TM Office, have any members recorded your TM with CBP? If so, has CBP been helpful in enforcing unauthorized imports of your recorded TM? Looking forward to your comments……….
Does anyone have a standard authorization letter that they use, to send to suppliers, that authorizes the importer the right to import a good that contains a registered IPR?
If an international company says they have a “world-wide” patent, does that mean it is permissible to import foreign product into the U.S? What questions should I be asking to avoid problems? What documents should I request to avoid problems?
Does anyone have a Trademark/Patent Authorization form that they would like to share? We are currently reviewing our supplier IPR’s and wish to show due diligence with an authorization letter/form.
