Has anyone in the membership been asked to sign a “letter of responsibility” for containers crossing the border in Laredo? If so, what is it used for and what can be done to eliminate the letter from being signed for every shipment and delaying orders?
We ship FCC regulated products both to Mexico and Canada (and all over the world) and there is no equivalent requirement in any of the countries we ship to. As far as I know, the US is the only country requiring such a declaration upon importation.
Does anyone know a website or other source to find Mexican antidumping > cases? Peferable in English, but ok if it is in Spanish.

I’ve got a very large and persistent Mexico based customer and they are requesting that all the commercial invoices for their import shipments (into Mexico) list there Tax ID. I’ve never heard of that requirement for a Commercial Invoice?? Is that a new requirement??
