Webinar Overview:
This webinar is the second in a two-part series and is designed to be a stand-alone course for anyone who wants to see classification examples and gain access to an Export Classification Determination Template.
This series is designed to help companies and professionals involved in export jurisdiction and classification better understand the requirements of classification with a systematic approach to solving the problem of classification. The content of this series will be at an intermediate to advanced level with a focus on the intricacies of the classification process.
Part two specifics:
Performing accurate classification is a necessary starting point but documenting that classification and how the determination was made is also important. In addition to documentation, building a process that is easily repeatable and sustainable is highly recommended for any exporter or trade compliance business that, well, wants to stay in business! These important aspects, namely recordkeeping and sustainability, are the key goals of this webinar. This course will help by providing an Export Classification Determination Template that can be used during classification as a guide and tool, as well as provide an easily understood record in future audits. This can be a cornerstone for building a process that works and is sustainable for diverse product lines and even the most complex corporate environments.
